The smash-hit manga Black Butler, currently serialized in Monthly GFantasy (Square Enix), has inspired a beloved series of stage musicals.

The latest installment, Black Butler The Musical: The Emerald Witch and the Werewolves' Forest, is set to premiere in September 2025, with performances scheduled in Osaka and Tokyo. Now, the official main visual and individual character visuals have been revealed, along with the first look at cast, staff, and ticket information.

I'm Ikuma Kobayashi. I'm 13 years old and, just like Ciel, I was born in December. I read the entire original series and became a huge Black Butler fan too! Getting the chance to play Ciel, a character so many people love, feels like a dream come true. I've also been watching the anime that's airing right now, and it's making me even more excited for the stage play to start. In the Emerald Witch arc, Ciel shows so many different sides: his cute side, cool side, kindness, weakness, and more. I do feel a little pressure, but I’m really grateful to have been chosen, so I will do my best and be myself. By the way, one more thing I share with Ciel is that I love candy. I can’t wait to see everyone at the theater!
