Universal Cool Japan 2026 is currently underway at Universal Studios Japan, featuring a range of immersive attractions based on popular titles. Among them is JUJUTSU KAISEN: The Real 4-D — Clock Tower of Recurrence, where visitors can step into the world of Jujutsu Kaisen.

Jujutsu Kaisen Special Talk Event Official Report
Universal Studios Japan is currently hosting Universal Cool Japan 2026, a special event that brings together five of Japan’s most popular and globally acclaimed works: Detective Conan, Jujutsu Kaisen, Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, the Masquerade series by renowned mystery writer Keigo Higashino, and Monster Hunter Wilds. The event offers visitors the chance to fully immerse themselves in the "ultra-realistic" worlds of these titles.
On Sunday, April 5, a "Jujutsu Kaisen Special Talk Event" was held at Universal Studios Japan. Junya Enoki (voice of Yuji Itadori) and Takahiro Sakurai (voice of Suguru Geto/Kenjaku) joined 140 specially invited fans to experience the hugely popular attraction JUJUTSU KAISEN: The Real 4-D — Clock Tower of Recurrence. The attraction offers a fully immersive, "ultra-realistic" theater show experience that lets visitors feel the power of Cursed Energy with their entire bodies via 3D visuals and special effects. Together, they enjoyed a special moment immersed in the world of the series.
At around 11:30 a.m. the lucky winners of the lottery gathered at the venue. As anticipation built, Junya Enoki (voice of Yuji Itadori) and Takahiro Sakurai (voice of Suguru Geto/Kenjaku) took the stage, instantly drawing cheers and applause from the crowd.
The two then experienced the attraction together with the fans. As Itadori and Geto seemed to leap right out of the screen, the audience found themselves battling curses alongside them, becoming fully immersed in the world of Jujutsu Kaisen.
Enoki and Sakurai also joined in the action, and the venue reached a fever pitch as everyone shared in the excitement of this one-of-a-kind, unforgettable experience.

Afterward, with the excitement still in the air, the Special Talk Event got underway. The event was also livestreamed on Universal Studios Japan’s official YouTube channel, where it drew a flood of enthusiastic comments from viewers.
Fresh off their experience with JUJUTSU KAISEN: The Real 4-D — Clock Tower of Recurrence, the two were brimming with excitement as they shared their thoughts.
"That was absolutely amazing! I don’t think I’ve ever seen Sakurai-san this hyped and smiling so much," Enoki said with a laugh. "Gojo’s legs were so long! But seriously, Gojo didn’t help us at all (laughs)."
Sakurai responded in kind, joking, "My inner child really came out there, huh? I love that even someone my age can have this much fun at USJ. This place makes you feel young again." He continued, "Everything felt so real, like you were actually getting hit. I even took a Black Flash. And that guy (Geto) had a lot of energy, huh. It (getting blown away) was all part of an act to catch his opponent off guard. He was enjoying himself."

The two also shared that they had explored the park the night before the event, fully immersing themselves in the world of Jujutsu Kaisen through experiences like JUJUTSU KAISEN × Story Ride: The Cursed Spirit Train, as well as collaboration food and merchandise.
When it came to the themed food, Enoki commented with a smile, "I always imagine Black Flash as something sharp and spiky, but the 'Black Flash! Chicken Pizza Bread' is actually really soft. Black Flash, but gentle." Describing the Jujutsu High School’s Grapefruit Lemonade, he added, "Like the first years coming of age, it's bittersweet!"
The two also recalled searching together for the mini Mechamaru hidden inside the merch shop. "USJ might be the only place in the world where you can see Mini Mechamaru," Sakurai joked. He added with a laugh, "I even found myself picking out a headband. I think it’s been about 20 years since I last did that."
"I was vibing with Itadori!" "I want to ride it again!" - The "super realistic experience" received rave reviews.
Speaking about the many "ultra-realistic" Jujutsu Kaisen experiences featured at Universal Cool Japan 2026, the two shared their excitement, especially when it came to Hollywood Dream – The Ride, which features the special audio track JUJUTSU KAISEN × Story Ride: The Cursed Spirit Train.
"It was insanely intense!" Enoki said with a laugh. "Yuji was talking to me like, 'I had takoyaki!' and I was like, 'I just had some bread too!' We were totally vibing… and then suddenly, the coaster dropped (laughs). When it was over, I was in a great mood. This really is what 'NO LIMIT!' is all about."
Sakurai was equally impressed, commenting, "It was even more incredible than I imagined…! The sense of speed was so overwhelming that I probably only caught about a quarter of the story, I was screaming the rest of the time. I want to ride it again! It felt amazing!"
At the venue, they also sampled the chocolate snack that went viral for being "too realistic"... modeled after Sukuna's fingers.
"Itadori just swallows these whole, right?" Enoki joked. "I never thought I’d get to eat something like this at USJ. It’s about the size of my own finger… but Sukuna’s fingers are definitely longer." He then playfully mimicked Sukuna and swallowed the chocolate, drawing cheers from the audience.
Guess Who’s Starring in JUJUTSU KAISEN × Story Ride PART 2: Sorcerers Off Duty (Starting May 11)!
As a special surprise, new details were revealed for JUJUTSU KAISEN × Story Ride PART 2: Sorcerers Off Duty (Event Period: May 11–August 18, 2026), content that is typically only unveiled during the event itself.
Midway through the talk show, a poll was posted on Universal Studios Japan’s official X account, inviting fans to guess which characters would take center stage. Excitement quickly spread across X, YouTube Live, and the venue, with fans calling out guesses like "Suguru Geto!" and even "Everyone!"
Then came the big reveal: Satoru Gojo, Suguru Geto, Kento Nanami, and Yu Haibara will appear in Part 2 of the Jujutsu Kaisen × Story Ride. The announcement sparked the loudest cheers of the day, sending the crowd into a frenzy.
Looking ahead to the experience, Sakurai shared, "I really enjoyed the lively dynamic between seniors and juniors back when they were at Jujutsu High together."
To close the event, Enoki and Sakurai shared messages with the 140 fans in attendance as well as those watching via YouTube Live.
Enoki reflected, "It really felt like I had stepped into the story as one of the characters. The intensity of the battle scenes was so realistic that I think it’s something I can even carry into my future performances."
Sakurai added, "Jujutsu Kaisen has a world that feels surprisingly close to our everyday lives, and the sense of youth portrayed in the 'Hidden Inventory / Premature Death' arc is a big part of that. Through this collaboration, I was able to truly feel that connection to reality. The overall quality was incredibly high, it was a wonderful experience."
