The TV anime The Summer Hikaru Died premiered on Saturday, July 5, streaming exclusively worldwide on Netflix and free in Japan on ABEMA. It also began airing nationwide on the Nippon TV network.
The behind-the-scenes documentary series for the anime has released its second installment on YouTube! Following the first episode, “Horror,” this new chapter, titled “The Voice-Over,” takes viewers inside the studio to capture the voice recording process up close.
The episode features interviews with lead actors Chiaki Kobayashi and Shuichiro Umeda, along with director Ryohei Takeshita, plus a look at the essential "dialect coaching" that brings the series' unique setting to life.
