In the year 7 of the Kowa Period, within the former Hokkaido Block of the United States of Japan, which has been occupied by the Neo-Britannian Empire, there existed a pair of mercenary brothers known as the “Nameless Mercenaries.”

The elder brother Ash, possessing extraordinary physical abilities and exceptional Knightmare Frame piloting skills, and his younger brother Rozé, a brilliant strategist responsible for intelligence gathering and tactical command, take on various missions together.

Having repelled the Black Knights’ liberation attempts with the seemingly impenetrable energy barrier known as the Situmpe Wall, Emperor Callis al Britannia of the Neo-Britannian Empire and the Emperor’s direct knights, the Einberg, led by his loyal subordinate Norland, seek to plunge the world into chaos once again.

After accepting a request, Rozé and Ash join forces with the Japanese resistance group Seven Shining Stars to confront the Neo-Britannian Empire and rescue Princess Sakuya.
