In order to help his family make ends meet, Romeo is bought by the man known as the "God of Death"and sold as a chimney sweep. It is hard and demanding work, but Romeo meets Alfredo, who the two become the best of friends. Together with other chimney sweeps, they form the "Black Brothers" to fight back against those who oppress them.

This is a story about the friendship between two boys who courageously face a harsh reality.
