Story

The underwater kingdom of Kaien, whose people worship a Water Dragon as their guardian deity, was founded long ago by those who wandered the world in search of peace. After leaving the surface behind, they were granted a conflict-free homeland by the Water Dragon itself.

But peace was never destined to last forever.

Yura, a shrine maiden who offers prayers to the slumbering Water Dragon, learns that someone is plotting to awaken the beast and launch an invasion of the surface world. Carrying the sacred flute passed down through her lineage, she journeys above the sea in search of help.

Her destination is a resort island governed by Empress Elmesia of the Sorcerous Dynasty of Sarion. There, Rimuru and his companions are enjoying a brief vacation following the successful completion of the Tempest Founding Festival.

At Elmesia's request, Rimuru and his allies set out for Kaien to save Yura. However, a dangerous conspiracy is already unfolding beneath the waves...

As the Water Dragon awakens and chaos erupts over the mysterious flute, the hidden power within Yura is finally revealed.

Can Rimuru and his companions protect the azure seas from the looming threat and restore peace once more?
